History	Prié Rouge, or Premetta, is a grape variety indigenous to the Aosta Valley. It's believed to have emerged as a variant of the Prié Blanc grape, further enhancing the diversity of the region's vine heritage.
Ampelographic features	Leaf: The leaves of the Prié Rouge are moderately large and exhibit a pentagonal shape. They are typically whole but occasionally show a three-lobed form. The leaves are smooth on both surfaces, displaying a glossy, dark green hue. Bunch: The grape clusters are large and pyramid-shaped, featuring a winged structure. They possess a medium level of compactness and a mid-sized, herbaceous stem. Berry: The berries are medium to large, demonstrating an ovoid shape. They have a persistent and noticeable navel with a pruinous and moderately tender skin, ranging in color from rose to occasional violet. The pulp is very juicy with a simple flavor.
Characteristics of the wine	The wine produced from the Prié Rouge grape is a unique red wine, characterized by a rosy hue. It presents a distinctive and intense aroma. The wine is noted for its tannic structure and a relatively high alcohol content.
