Alto Livenza IGT is a white wine that boasts a rich and aromatic profile. It has a light straw-yellow color with greenish hints. The aroma is fresh and persistent, with notes of white flowers and fruit. On the palate, it is elegantly dry, harmonious, and well-balanced with a full body and medium acidity.

History

The Alto Livenza IGT denomination was established in 2001, covering a wide geographical area within the Veneto region. The title was created as a means of providing a platform for the region's winemakers to experiment with grape varieties and winemaking techniques outside of the restrictions of the more traditional DOC and DOCG laws.

Geographical Production Area

The Alto Livenza IGT wine is produced in the vast area of the Livenza river valley in the Veneto region of Italy. The region is characterized by a mild, temperate climate, ideal for viticulture. The soil is rich in minerals, which contributes to the unique characteristics of the wine. The vineyards are located on the flat areas and gentle slopes of the valley, giving the grapes excellent sun exposure.
