Ampelographic features |
The Colorino grape presents unique ampelographic features. It has a leaf that is typically round, sometimes even pentagonal, of medium-small size; often trilobata or quinquelobata, with a U-shaped pectoral breast. The leaf is flat, slightly wavy, thick, and soft, with lobes that are irregularly shaped. The color is a medium-bright green with a red-tinged rim. The bunch is medium or small, semi-sparrow, conical, winged with one or two wings, and has a long, robust peduncle. The grape itself is small or medium, round, fairly regular, with a thick, very pruinose, black-purple skin. It's juicy, soft, sweet, with no color or rose; long, green pedicels; and medium length brush. |
